Dr. Djerdjaj!

There are so many wonderful things to share since the last lab update--but none more important than Anthony completing his dissertation defense! Anthony's dissertation received the Boston College Dean's Award for a Dissertation in Mathematics and Science--outstanding!!

Other updates! We have new lab members, Dr. Eileen Chun joins us from FSU and will work on safety signal and social projects. Christalie Anor joins us as a PhD student from Tufts. She's working on stress and microglia projects!

We've had some good news with grants, too! In collaboration with Rebecca Shansky, we received NSF and NIMH support for the 2024 Stress Neurobiology Workshop (www.stress2024.com)! We also will receive an R21 to continue work on insular circuits that participate in safety learning and fear inhibition in 2024.
